Noonday Website Re-design

At the start of 2024, Noonday launched a new brand new website through Shopify. They previously had a website that hadn’t been updated since 2010, so it was time to modernize and simplify in order to best serve their business.

All of Noonday’s products are handmade, so it was important to us to create a handmade feel to the site as well (while not sacrificing a contemporary design update). Elements of hand drawn scribbles are incorporated throughout to give the site a personal, warm feel. Also, the use of large format imagery and video was prioritized in order for customers to feel immersed in the story being told.

One specific aspect that I feel proud of in this update is how much the website allows customers a peek into the lives behind the products. Each product page links to the exact workshop where it was made, where the viewer can see personal stories of flourishing for artisans impacted by Noonday’s business and learn about the processes behind their work.
