Tornadoes, armored truck robberies, and sad birthday clowns are just as common as hope, in Luke Smith’s debut album, "The World Is Such A Beautiful Place”.


Bookended with the lyrics, “The whole world is out to get you” and “The world is such a beautiful place”, the album's optimistic outlook on a bleak world suggests that even in the face of adversity and darkness, there are moments of profound beauty waiting to be discovered. While his songwriting is reminiscent of Leonard Cohen and Randy Newman, Smith offers a unique and witty perspective on the human experience.
